About Kriss
I first picked up a camera thinking it would do the work for me. That a real camera would automatically capture amazing things. What I discovered instead was that it takes much more than just equipment. It's about vision, knowing your craft, and understanding light.
Traveling and hiking with all my gear, I often wanted to throw it down the mountain and just be present, but then something new would catch my eye in the viewfinder. I had to capture it all... and that's how I fell in love with photography.
Lately, I've been into exploring new techniques and getting into analog photography. It's a different, yet exciting workflow. Whether I'm shooting on film or digital, the goal is to make sure the final image reflects my own vision rather than just an ordinary picture.
